Simon Chen
President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Simon is President & CEO of Arrival Home Loans and SVP of Pacific Private Money. Prior to joining AHL, Simon was Managing Partner at August Hill, a leading global advisory firm for startups, capital providers, and industry partners.
Before August Hill, Simon held the positions of CEO of ERA Real Estate and EVP of Product and Innovation at Anywhere Real Estate., which globally represent over 340,000 residential and commercial real estate agents. At Anywhere, Simon drove key initiatives focused on strategy, culture, franchise development, and ancillary revenue streams such as mortgage and title.
Earlier in his career Mr. Chen held successful roles as: Head of Corporate Development and Strategy for Move Inc./Realtor.com and was Founding Partner of real estate investment firm Century Pacific Group. He began his career in technology and investment banking.
Simon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Carnegie Mellon University and is a licensed real estate broker (DRE# 01550136) and soon mortgage loan officer, in California.

Nam Phan
Chief Customer Officer (CCO)
Nam is the Chief Customer Officer of Arrival Home Loans. His real estate and lending career spans over 20 years.
Previously, Nam held senior leadership roles with Better Homes/Avalar Real Estate, where he led franchise operations for the company’s several hundred offices representing over 2,000 Realtors.
Before that, Nam was Director of Business Development for the Western US region with HomeSmart International, a national Real Estate franchise in the top 20 independent real estate firms in the US.

JR Sandell
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
JR is the Chief Financial Officer of Arrival Home Loans. He first joined in a finance and strategic planning consulting capacity, before becoming CFO, where he leads accounting, finance, admin, HR, legal, and IT. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and financial services industries.
Previously, JR has held senior positions with Xerox Financial where he managed three MGAs while responsible for $3.5 billion of real estate-based collateral, and at Fireman’s Fund/Allianz Company Financial Services as the CFO for the IT Division, responsible for a successful $350 million outsourcing project of IT services. He also served as the SVP/CFO at Capital Alliance & CEO of International Business Electronics Inc.

Peter Zomick
VP of Sales & Business Development
Peter came to Arrival Home Loans after investing 5 years launching several new divisions funding over $2 billion in residential loan volume for a mid-sized mortgage lender that is part of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies. He is a high-performing and creative leadership executive with expertise working alongside the C-level suite. Partnering with organizations to increase financial wellness through responsible home ownership, has enabled Peter to help build profitable organizations through sales/marketing systems optimization, leveraging relationships, developing people, and sales operational processes.
With over 29 years of professional experience, Peter is very versatile, skilled, and methodical in his strategies, transforming ideas into workable solutions, while bench-marking performance against targeted goals, within allocated budgets and deadlines.

Robert O'Neill
VP of Production and Strategy
Robert’s career has focused on the finance and operational components of mortgage lending. During his 18 years at Bank of America his roles included CFO of their Mortgage Servicing Division, Secondary Marketing, Mortgage Fulfillment and Strategy Executive. Robert came to Arrival Home Loans from Wells Fargo where he led a team of over 250 national mortgage underwriters.
He has worked over the last 12 years with Fannie Mae, Bank of Hawaii and Stratmor Group. At Bank of Hawaii, Robert led mortgage capital markets, division strategy, accounting, finance and loan servicing. Robert attended UC Davis, Universite de Paris-Sorbonne and finished his graduate studies in economics at UC Berkeley.

Margaret Molina
VP of Operations
Margaret has over 30 years of experience in multiple areas of traditional and non-traditional lending. She has a wealth of experience leading and overseeing build-outs, expansion, and growth in operations as well as workflows, underwriting, investor relations/secondary, product development, technology, compliance, and risk management. Margaret successfully achieved non-QM/portfolio product regulatory approval with the OCC, FNMA seller/ servicer, VA, USDA, and FHA Froward Direct Endorsement Approvals.
Prior to joining Arrival Home Loans in 2022, Margaret successfully held executive and senior management positions. Her roles included COO/CLO at Wholesale Capital Corporation, SR. Vice President, Correspondent & Retail Lending Operations, Portfolio Lending Product Development, Warehouse Lending Operations, Compliance/Risk and BSA/AML officer at Gateway Bank FSB and SR. Manager of Operations at AAG, overseeing & leading the build-out of the Forward Mortgage Division, Operation, Investor Relations/Secondary Market, Servicing, and Compliance.
